Having time off from work is always conducive to solving a few geocaching puzzles. I really like programming challenges and this was a nice little puzzle. We parked 0.3 miles south of the final and walked through the snow to make the find as the last bit of light faded away. After grabbing this one we headed off to get the harder version of this puzzle and the vowel challenge. TFTC!

I got a "solved" on the 3 new CachingColorado caches in the area and thought I'd try to get FTF on at least one of them. Although this one had been found already, it was on my way to the others so I stopped for it first. My GPSr was a little squirrely under the trees, but I finally found it after looking in the completely wrong places for about 1/2 hour. I'm giving this one a favorite point for being a solvable, hard for me puzzle. Took nothing, left footprints in the snow, signed log. Thanks CachingColorado for placing this cache.

Woo-HOO, FTF at 4:04 PM !
Boy did THAT take a while -- difficulty 4.5 is right on the mark. It took me a few times going through all of the words to get the correct tally, and I was even off in counting the words that met the criteria at one point but with this puzzle, if you are off by even a count of one, no coordinate checker success. Dang. I had to go through the entire list several times but finally persevered !
A well earned favorite point for putting me through this ... ummmm ... fun !
SL, and headed home.
