I was up the road a ways at Captain Smith's Cabin, really trying to make his revenge sweet by being the first finder in the past 5 or 6 years depending on how people cache and trying to have a significant milestone achievement. I had no luck there so I ran down the road to grab this one and totally forgot that it would be my 400th find. Oh well. Lots of pinyon jays were in attendance guarding this one. Thanks for hiding in this canyon.

Not as bad a hike as I expected from the description. Low side of a BIG rock.

Plan on hiking if you don't know which direction to come in from! Cache is still in great condition!

Smile Beautiful "Winter's" day in Escalante Canyon, had to be at least 60 deg. A bit of a climb. Go lower rather than higher. Lots of room in the cache for more stuff. Someone needs to leave a pen.
