Another cache to honor our military. This location is little known even to residents of Evergreen bit is a very nice memorial in a well used park.
The cache is in typical kitt5 form but because of the popularity of the park, it demands that you be very stealthy. The cache is full of refrigerator magnets so please only trade magnets, unless you feel the need to drop a travel coin.

Had to bypass our way around a herd of elk but found this one just NW of the posted coordinates. Log is missing - we will try to replace next time we are in the area. A few magnets remain. TFTC - this was a fun one when we eventually realized what the cache was - very creative!!

What a cool cache! Our first find in Evergreen! This is a beautiful and honorable memorial. Thank you!

Stopped to enjoy lunch in the park and decided to walk my dog a bit. As an afterthought, decided to see what geocaches were about, and found this one without much trouble. The container made me smile. Surprisingly few folks around on a Tuesday lunch-hour, so it was pretty easy to go unnoticed (I hope). I was happy to learn about this memorial--it was built after I moved away from Evergreen. I return every summer to reconnect with this wonderful mountain community. TFTC.
