Before geocaching, there was letterboxing. Those who letterbox leave their stamp in the log book and use the stamp from the hide to stamp their own book (Kinda like a passport, so you know where you've been).
The coordinates will take you to the "pony" in this dog and pony show. In order to find the dog, you can put your GPS away (thus no need to look at your arrow) and follow the riddle below. There is a stamp and small ink pad included in the cache should you wish to use it. Otherwise you can sign the log just like any other hide.

You can either walk or drive from the pony to the dog. The total distance is less than a quarter mile.

Here's the riddle:

Head down the path lined by trees.
When you reach the end, turn 90 degrees.

Pass one yellow plug, then pass two.
The lamps on your left will not help you.

To the right your eyes should stay.
Search between J and K.

Though down low most dogs are found,
this one is a few feet off the ground.

Enjoy the hunt!

We know what to do for a dog and pony show: talk fast, wave our hands, and hope the demo works. Found the dog in good shape, thanks.

Luckily I had been to a CITO event earlier and had a tool with a sufficient length to grab the cache. Replaced it so that the next cacher doesn’t need a three foot ‘arm-extension’ to grab it but still hidden from prying muggle sees. TFTC

We had errands to run in the Parker area then we were going to meet up with our daughter in Aurora. We decided we would try to cache in between stops. We wanted to add to our Planetary Pursuit totals as it winds down. We did a lot better then we thought we could accomplish for the day. This was a fun cace to do, we really enjoyed it. TNLN, SL,TFTC
