I've lived in Canon City for almost a decade and I've never known about this dam wall, that is, until last weekend when I discovered it while exploring on my mountain bike. Look around, explore the hole underneath, and be sure to take some dam pictures. Do be careful, however, since there are some drop offs and cliffs that could be dangerous for the young and immature.

Found this one bit the log is mince meat. I put a small part of it in a mini zipper baggie but it really needs replaced.
