Today, space technology Committee (CCP) North Korea said that North Korea plans to launch several satellites, "designed to study Earth's natural resources, weather forecasting and other purposes that are important for economic development."

Bangladesh plans to launch its own communications satellite within a year, Post and Telecommunications Minister Raziuddin Ahmed Raju said yesterday.

In its resolution entitled “The Space Millennium: Vienna Declaration on Space and Human Development”, the Third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNISPACE III) recommended that activities of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications promote collaborative participation among Member States at both the regional and international levels by emphasizing the development of knowledge and skills in developing countries and countries with economies in transition.

Human space activities are largely concentrated in three Earth orbit altitude regions.

Is U.S. building a "new moon"?

A Hong Kong-based satellite company has held the Falun Gong movement responsible for disrupting its normal signal transmission in Beijing and Tianjin cities of north China by hacking its satellite.

There are currently over thirteen thousand satellites and other large objects in orbit around the Earth, and there are countless smaller pieces of debris generated by spacecraft explosions and by collisions between satellites.

Today @WindAtMyBack and I headed south to grab some caches along a trail. After a short 2 mile walk in the woods we headed to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Afterward we stopped by here to grab this one. I had worked on this one for a long time before getting the proper coords last month. But a search of the GZ and the general area revealed nothing. I found remnants of the raccoon found by the previous finder. Just a few bones left now. So I called a previous finder who confirmed my suspicion of the cache location. I double checked. Nothing there. So I dropped a replacement and secured it with a chunk of concrete. TFTC!

I was in Parker getting highly favorited caches. This is a puzzle that I was thankful to have some help on. Once I got to GZ I had a good idea where to look, but nothing was materializing. Finally I decided to try the other side. And then I spotted the cache and a dead raccoon. I have a hypothesis. Given the state of the cache, I am afraid the raccoon tried to eat the container, and got the plastic stuck in its throat. I didn’t have a replacement container, so I put it back where I think it belonged. Hopefully the CO or a future finder can replace it.

Thanks for the hide aethiopica. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Out caching with herndonrd and the5millers when I realized that we were not too far from this one. Like others, I needed help to arrive at the final coordinates and put the other two to work in finding the cache (Translation: I looked in all the places where it wasn't). There was much relief when the5millers finally spotted it since none of us wanted to walk away with a DNF. After we all signed the log and the container was returned to its hiding place we were off to find a few more before calling it a day. Thanks for the fun puzzle, hide, and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

After us finding another near by puzzle we decided to go for this one. We looked all over this place, we almost gave up but alas I looked and saw it out of the corner of my eye. We all rejoiced in our victory. Now back to work.
Keeping our streak alive. Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

We found this cache as part of some vacationing in Colorado. We often target a few caches when we travel, usually trying our luck on a few higher difficulty/terrain caches, puzzle caches, ones that add new counties, and others that well…just seem interesting. This puzzle was very challenging for us, eventually having to resort to getting some help. The hide required a little searching, but we eventually came up with it. Thanks for the puzzle cache.
