Takes less than an hour  Available at all times  Not Available during winter  Stealth required  Short hike (less than 1km)  Not Front Yard (Private Residence)

Halloween is an extra fun time of year for JrPuppyPaw and me.  The excitement of decorating the house, costumes, corn mazes, and jack-o-lanterns.  The leaves are turning colors and the temperatures are cooling down.  This year the kiddo was also excited to create this series of caches.  Some are kooky and some are spooky… we hope all of them bring a smiley to your day.

Owner Maintenance 04/26/2022 By lasouthpaw
Laced up my shoes today and literally went on a maintenance run. Didn't change out any logs, but did remove strange swag as I went along. Renaming some of the Halloween and Christmas caches as I go. I don't know what I was thinking when I numbered them, I can't remember which one is which. Saw a snake at my last stop. Startled me because A- I almost stepped on it and B- I never expect to see them in the middle of the sidewalk. Everything was good at each of my 11 stops. Cache on!

Realized that not only had we neglected the Christmas series, there was an old Halloween series out here as well. Decided we'd take a crack at the entire calendar today.

This one shows "Not Available in Winter". Not sure why. Would say it would most likely be available even after a typical snow around here.

We made this one harder than it should have been. TFTC

Got out and about to find some geocaches, before the predicted cold and snow puts a damper on my favorite outdoor activity - this was the second stop on a park-once-find-fourteen excursion. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Nice day to finish up with this series. When I first got to gz I thought this looked like a pretty daunting task, especially reading the previous logs. Made my rounds a couple of times when I spotted it. Thankfully, it didn't take too long. TFTH SL

Grabbing another in the 13 Caches of Halloween. It took us a bit to find it.

Short walk to GZ as the winds are picking up. Took a few minutes of searching. I must have made about 3 revolutions around the tree, almost getting dizzyWink. Finally made the find. Very nice hide, SL,TFTC

[FTF] 10-11-2021 at 8:23 pm. I came out here to find some other caches and realized that this was still unfound. So I took a minor 10 mile detour to attempt this one. Once there the convenient parking put me close by. I was on the phone with Edwards654 searching for a while not finding the cache. I guess she was my witness to a good 10 minutes of fruitless searching. In fact, she kept saying that it might be easier to search if I didn't have the phone to my face. Almost immediately after hanging up I found the cache. Well placed and very Halloween appropriate!
Thanks for the cache! Here is a favorite!
