Halloween is an annual holiday observed on October 31, which commonly includes activities such as trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.

Here is a bit of Halloween history that I remember from when our kids were little. Do you remember this?
At one time, candy apples were commonly given to children, but the practice rapidly waned in the wake of widespread rumors that some individuals were embedding items like pins and razor blades in the apples. While there is evidence of such incidents, they are quite rare and have never resulted in serious injury. Nonetheless, many parents assumed that such heinous practices were rampant because of the mass media. At the peak of the hysteria, some hospitals offered free X-rays of children's Halloween hauls in order to find evidence of tampering. Virtually all of the few known candy poisoning incidents involved parents who poisoned their own children's candy

This is a transplant from California.  We liked it so much we brought it with us when we moved here in 2012.   You are looking for a camoed large nut container.   The terrain rating is for a short steep hill and branches on ground.  Be especially careful if attempting at night.  Hopefully the area will give the proper atmosphere for a Halloween cache.  Happy Halloween everyone.

I hit up Parker today to get highly favorited caches. This was one on my list. On my way to the cache, I found a very interesting little treehouse kind of setup. Odd placement given that this seems to be public space. I found the cache in good shape and glad to get another of this great CO's caches found. I love the swag on this one! :)

I came to Parker for the event this morning and to work on my 360 degrees of Colorado challenge. The day started out cold, but I was warm by the time I completed my loop. LOL I thought I looked on the map and saw there were walking trails along all of my route, but that turned out to be wrong. Oh well, had a great adventure exploring and saw my first snake of the year - look out! Thanks for the smiley - find #3337.

It was somewhere between Hard Headed and here I realized I'd be bush whacking. Oh well, if Rohatx can bike through here, I can figure things out on foot. Got myself on the correct side of the fence and made the grab.

The evil spirits are strong with this one. I fought a sea of hungry cockleburs, dog sized mosquitoes, and felt the presence of a blood thirsty beast. Thankfully I made it out alive. Left a new temporary log. Tftc!

Continued on the planetary pursuit with a stopped here. Was a little uneasy about the parking as I was not a customer so I made a quick walk to GZ. Just found a St. Patrick's themed cache, and now this one. tft, T: dinosaur, L: Happy Meal toy, Army man (Hooah!)
