I found this abandoned roundabout in an old camping area. You will be looking for a spice bottle that is camoed. It only contains a log book but you may leave very small items inside if you like. Bring your own pen or pencil.

Sometimes I wonder about the caches I look for! Standing in the brush getting eaten by mosquitos thinking "it's 8 ft into that bush and I'm in sandals" only to look down and spot the obvious!
Thanks for the find! We used to spend a lot of time down here -- 20 years ago! Haven't been down this road in years!

Love this road. Favorite place in Moffat county.

This was a caching trip to pick up 5 deLorme sectors in northwestern Colorado. I was missing sectors 12, 13, 16, 23 and 25. Northwest of Maybell SR 318 cuts through sector 13. From Helter Smelter follow Road 10 east, cross the Snake River and go south on Road 25. To this point the county dirt roads had been very good. No more. Very rough past this cache and on to Monument Road. Found a very unusual old cache. Continue south on very rough road to Dinosaur Monument Service Road. Recently paved and wonderfully smooth. Head east to this cache, Miraculous find buried in dirt. First bottle full of water, interior bottle pretty dry and log in baggie is completely dry. SL This cache is in section 23 to make the day a total success. On to US 40 and east to return to Steamboat Springs.

Replaced spice jar with a pill bottle and fresh log.

Bottle was waterlogged, original log was soaked, second log was more or less dry. Nice pull off for us to sleep since nearby campground was full.

Out enjoying hiking at Cross Mountain and figured we would grab this cache. TFTC. Had to make a new log. If I had an extra container I would of replaced it. The current container is no longer watertight

Didn't get to it. Coord lead to a basketball sized ant hill, and about 100 mosquitoes had already sucked me dry in the time it took to walk from the truck. Turned and ran!
