These rocks hide the cache.

The cache is located on top ot the table mountain with a nice view of the valley. The hike is about 3/4 mile.
To reach the cache location, I may have not used the shortest possible route. However, I have waypoints posted from the route I used. The trail is established until past the gate and you head up to the table top (although there is a nice deer trail heading up the hill.

Mom was back to visit and left another tea box. This one is red with a gold top. I left a few trinklets and a log book. No quill, though.

It took me less than a minute to find this one.
I actually came over from the west side of the mountain - a lot of hiking today (for me, anyway).
Great view from up there. And I love your photo with the beagle (I help rescue dogs, and have helped a couple of those in the past). This one gets a favorite point.

A great morning for a nice hike on the Table. I hiked about 9.5 miles and found all of the caches on the southeast side, saw a few deer and heard a rattler, but didn't see it. Nice view from up here. The cache is in good shape, thanks!

Sorry for the very late log but I am having problems getting my found logs out of my Garmin. I rode N Table Mountain for the 1st time since they opened the nice parking lot-much better (and safer) than parking along the highway as before. Like the new trails too. A favorite point for hiding a cache where we can still ride horses.
I picked up a TB here.

Hiked North Table Mountain today to grab some caches. The temperature was perfect. We enjoyed all of the placements.

Found it today at 3:37 pm. Great views from this location. We enjoyed the walk through the green grasses to get this one. No problems with the cache. We traded bugs. SL. TFTC.

Thanks, Amulek! There is a really great view from here. I have found others in this series. I am surprised that it has taken so long for someone to find this one. Today was the perfect day to hike up and around Table Mountain. We do not have terrain like this in South Texas where we normally live. I have the time to make great trips like this because we now have a second home in Arvada to be closer to the grandchildren during the summers. I really enjoy the surroundings in Colorado, and the temperatures that are about 20 degrees cooler than in Laredo.
