This is a geocache I placed in Glenwood South Canyon that is dedicated to TSgt Herman Mackey III, Capt. Victoria Ann Pinckney, and Capt. Mark Tyler Voss.  Their KC-135 tanker went down over the Kyrgyz Republic on May 3, 2013.

There is parking nearby.  You'll need to either download this to a GPS or have your map running before entering the area.  This trail is somewhat remote so you might not have data.  The cache is an ammo can that is military themed.  I left some military memorabilia inside.  Please feel free to take and drop things.

The original location of this was Rifle state park, but it was not getting enough attention.

If you have time visit the South Canyon (hippie) Natural Hot Springs just .4 miles further down the road.  It is free and there is parking.
