Our 6 year old grandson came along to place this hide and he was excited anticipating all the cachers that would enjoy hunting for this one.

Some rock scrambling is required but there is no technical climbing or special gear needed.  Extreme caution is advised and IF you choose to bring a child they must be monitored carefully at ALL times near this hide.  Caleb's hand was held the entire time near GZ and on the day of the hide the wind was blowing ferociously (which is probably a regular condition).  The view from here is exquisite and you'll want to allow some time to fully take it in.  Your effort will be well rewarded from this awesome vantage point!

Most 2WD vehicles will probably want to not pass through this spot. You can park here and hike in the rest of the way.

Needed snowshoes on this day. Climbing around on the rocks was a bit of an adventure with the snow. Mrs DocTK spotted the cache box cleverly stashed. View was stunning.
Ably accompanied by Mia, the cache sniffing wonderdog!
Shout out to GrandadHollywood grabbing this one just one month ago!

BugRanger, Path Pacer, and I had a lovely morning for a hike...afternoon, not so much. This was our first target cache for the day, though, so we were in fine fettle (whatever fettle is) along the way in. We didn't find the cache immediately, but didn't really have to search all that long, and the coords were pretty good. The box was full of goodies; I didn't take anything but I did try on the red nose. Thanks for leading us to this magnificent view!

This was our first cache today and a beautiful morning for a hike. The gate was closed, so we walked along the road until we found a spot we could cut across to the cache. It took a while to find in all those rocks, but I finally got the right angle to see it. Gorgeous view! What a great spot for your first hide.

Hiking with EstesLynne & PathPacer (+ geodog) to get this set of caches. A little bit of rock scrambling at GZ, then made the find. Love the views from here. TFTC!

FTF at 3:30PM! Enjoyed the short walk from parking to GZ on a beautiful fall day. It was very windy, so I was glad to have a jacket. It took about 10 minutes of searching and then I got to the right angle and spotted the cache. Always awesome coming across a blank logbook! Great job on your first hide Caleb! TFTC
