This is the same container for an old cache of mine that was called "Cobalt". It was archived because the location of that cache was claimed by the construction on C470 through Highlands Ranch. If you remember that cache, it might help you find it again in this location.

Cobalt is number 27 on the Periodic Table of Elements with the symbol of Co. Cobalt is found naturally only in chemically combined form. The free element, produced by reductive smelting, is a hard, lustrous, silver-gray metal. Cobalt-based blue pigments have been used since ancient times for jewelry and paints, and to impart a distinctive blue tint to glass. The main source of the element is as a by-product of copper and nickel mining. The copper belt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia yields most of the cobalt metal mined worldwide.

The cache container is blue but it is inside of something else.

Just dropping by for a visit. Catching up on all the caches I missed logging my walking stick.

TFTC! Had the day off and decided to drive 67N to Sedalia from Woodland Park and then on down the 105 to the Springs. The goal this year is to reach 1,000 caches. Cache is in good shape, signed the log and thank you for the smiley face on the cache map.

Went for a drive on route 67 this morning with "animjason" - we enjoyed seeing the changed foliage, and the first snowfall of the season - this was the first of ten geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

First cache of the day. Saw these nine publish last night, and made last minute plans to grab them all with Bhob. We knew there would be competition to be first, and succeeded twice!

Nice camo on this one.

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Cobalt Reborn from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

FTF!

After parking it was starting to light up some, but it was slow with all the fog and cloud cover.

That was a good thing for this one with the ground covered with fresh snow.

I got a big smile when I saw the nicely camouflaged container.

Thanks for a fun series to hunt down!

Left the camera in the truck ?? so no picture for #1,474.
