Last stop for the evening which was beautiful. This area of the road was all of a sudden busy with kids on ATVs & dirt bikes going up & down the road. Got to watch out! Had to expand our search for this one but huggle spotted it as I floundered closer to GZ.

Eighth cache of the day. Saw these nine publish last night, and made last minute plans to grab them all with Bhob. We knew there would be competition to be first, and succeeded twice!
Picked up the LiD pathtag here, thanks!
Thanks cajrrman! Logged Larry from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

Went for a drive on route 67 this morning with "animjason" - we enjoyed seeing the changed foliage, and the first snowfall of the season - this was the eighth of ten geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Aw, shucks. I feel a little blush coming to my face. Placing a cache named after me :) Ok, not named after me at all. But, I was out caching this evening with @windatmyback. We were in Highlands Ranch and Wind was about to head off to better things while I cached in the rain. Then we saw several caches publish, including this one. She quickly changed her mind and we started on this adventure. As usual, it was truly and adventure. It was already late and chilly. But as we headed along the road, which turned from paved to dirt, we realized it was a little slick. We arrived at the convenient parking area, grabbed our flashlights and headed up. A short scramble in the dark led to the general area. Beautiful (I'm sure it is even nicer in the day light) up here! We were all alone except for maybe a few animals watching us from the edge of the clearing. We checked many places before stumbling on the container. I think the coords are great, but with cloud cover, our GPS was bouncy. Then I had "Larry" in my hands.
[FTF] at 10:35 pm with @WindatmyBack. Seemed appropriate to leave my pathtag in the Larry cache, so I swapped it for the great white shark. We turned to head back to the FJ and Wind's flashlight took it's last breath. By now, the rain had turned to large snowflakes which were melting when they landed on the ground. By the time we got back to the FJ it was a full on windy snowstorm! In Colorado... go figure.
Thanks for the namesake cache and the adventure.
