Heading back home over the range we stopped to pick up a few caches on this beautiful Mother’s Day.

Just dropping by for a visit. Catching up on all the caches I missed logging my walking stick.

TFTC! Had the day off and decided to drive 67N to Sedalia from Woodland Park and then on down the 105 to the Springs. The goal this year is to reach 1,000 caches. Cache is in good shape, signed the log and thank you for the smiley face on the cache map.

Went for a drive on route 67 this morning with "animjason" - we enjoyed seeing the changed foliage, and the first snowfall of the season - this was the second of ten geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Second cache of the day. Saw these nine publish last night, and made last minute plans to grab them all with Bhob. We knew there would be competition to be first, and succeeded twice!
It was crazy reading about LiD's adventure, and now we know why they only grabbed two. Congrats on those two firsts.
Thanks cajrrman! Logged Curly from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!

Wow! I was with @WindAtMyBack in Highlands Ranch when we saw a bunch of new caches publish. One of them (Larry) was even named after me! But then I noticed that the others had names like Curly, Moe and Shem. I might be named Larry, but I look more like Curly! I thought to myself, self, maybe named after who I was named after. Who is on first? That's the real question. But I digress.
We hurried to the area with the ambition of grabbing several of the FTF's. But the snow started falling while we were grabbing Larry. The snow really complicated our plans. A short 4.7 mile drive to Curly ended up taking forever! The snow was flying so heavily that I couldn't make out the sharp turns in the road. So I had to creep along.
Once again, there was convenient parking nearby and what appeared to be an easy to follow route. The snow had turned back to rain at this lower elevation, so we were getting soaked. Cloud cover blurred our GPS location and rain played with my phone's screen. We got a lock on the GZ and I didn't see the container. So, naturally, I started to wander in circles looking for a likely hiding spot. No luck. Then, I went back to the GZ and BOOM, saw something suspicious.... the well hidden container! Right where it should be!
FTF] with [@WindAtMyBack on October 6, 2018, at 12:01 am. This time there was no swag swapping. Stamped the log and headed back to the FJ. Cold, wet, and exhausted from hours of driving and searching, we decided to head back to civilization. After all, I have to work at 7:00 am today. TFTC!
