Scenic view  Significant hike  Difficult climbing  Not Available during winter  Cliff / falling rocks  Parking available

This cache is hidden at a high spot a ways off the Noddle Trail in Pike National Forest and is another in a series of caches that are all along trails west and southwest of Denver.

I provided a parking waypoint from which you should head south on the trail all the way to the next waypoint where you should leave the trail. From this waypoint it is a difficult climb up the steep hill. It's the way I went. Perhaps there is a better way if you continue farther down the Noddle Trail. The cache area can be a bit tricky with footing on the rocks so be careful.

The hike to this TM cache is not that long but the steepness of the hike makes it one of the more difficult in this series.

The Noddle trail is a popular off road motorcycle trail so be on the lookout for them.

Oh, and bring your own pen.

After getting to the easier cache nearby we decided to push on up more to this one. We decided to stay on the trail a bit further & climbed up the SE side. Still plenty steep. We had a hard time finding the cache once we got up there. GPS jumped around quite a bit, rolly polley rocks & real stickerey bushes made the looking tough but I finally spotted the right rock crevice. Took the coin so it can move on. TFTC

When I got to the parking spot I noticed a car with a travel bug in the back window.

That saved me from making a long hike for a couple of STFs, thank you!

I new of another unfound cache for on the way home.

Went for a drive on route 67 this morning with "animjason" - we enjoyed seeing the changed foliage, and the first snowfall of the season - this was the fifth of ten geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Fifth cache of the day. Saw these nine publish last night, and made last minute plans to grab them all with Bhob. We knew there would be competition to be first, and succeeded twice!

This was our second [FTF] today. Now I have 99 consecutive months with an FTF! Traded trackables.

Man, that was steep. And tiring. And fun!

Thanks cajrrman! Logged Trail Mix #30: South Noddle from a ninth galaxy using c:geo!
