Ah, the Quantum Gemerald, the most valuable jewel in the galaxy! With its round diamond cut pattern and emerald glow it is truly a sight to behold.

However, it is missing! Rumors abound that the evil super villain, the Zookeeper, has commanded one of his evil menagerie of animals to conceal the jewel. Out of the 300 hiding locations the villain has contemplated, he has settled on one specific place.

Fortunately for you, your global positioning system device knows the way. Are you able to foil the evil schemes of the Zookeeper and locate the treasured Quantum Gemerald?

You've come to the last known coordinates, but where is the Gemerald? Turn and look north. There are four tall Yellows. Watch out for the monkeys! Hurry past them! Do you see the tall, thick Brown bear? Beware the claws! Hurry past! To the northwest is a Pile of alligators. The longest one (and oldest) is showing you its three pointy teeth. Run directly away from those points! There is the Gemerald, nestled against a winter hedgehog. Poke carefully so as not to wake it up.

I returned to this cache once again today and made what turned out to be an easy find at 1:30 pm. Thanks for the fun cache!

Thanks to PiTime, the original container has been recovered! Lucky him ( and me)! I brought my geocaching keys with me so I was able to remove the cord and use it on the original container. I also moved the small letterbox container that was under the wood pile and put that in the original container as well. Also also I collected a small trash bag full of CITO. Whew! It's bigger than a small again.

I had just struck out at "Here Kitty, Kitty!" and decided to trek on and give this one a shot. It was a perfect day for a walk along this path and it helped get my mind off some of the stress of the day, one of my favorite things of caching.

This one took me a little bit of time. I started where previous cachers have stated, the cable tie and lock around the tree. I wonder if this is where the cache used to be located at? I wandered around a bit and found another spot where all of the contents from the previous cache are still at. I even found the lamented name for this one. At this point, I was worried that the cache might have gone missing but I decided to stop and think a little bit.

Of course, I overlook the description and once I read over everything, things start to soon make sense. After thinking, "this can't be right," it sure enough ended getting me to the right spot haha.

I liked the cache container for this one. Still need to visit Cabella's when I get a chance. While walking back, a large hawk flew very close to me and I snapped a cool photo with my phone.

Cache is still there

The cache is still there. I am grateful, I didn't want to carve another stamp. However, the container isn't holding up, so I will be replacing it after I paint the new container. The wildflowers are quite pretty now.

My knee hasn't been working properly as of late, but hopefully I will be out there next week.
