This cache replaces my previous nearby cache GC42R6D. It's a moderately difficult hide, and closer to the site with which it is intended to be associated.

I haven't listed this as wheelchair accessible, but it might be for many wheelchair users. Feel free to email me for additional information if this affects you, or checking the hint may help.

You'll definitely have an easier time here if you come outside the busy hours.

About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a certified barista, roast my own coffee (on a Behmor 1600), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

About This Location

This is a favorite location of mine. I usually name my Cuppa Chino caches with some sort of take-off on the location names. In this case, though, it's more a description of how I perceive this location.

Congratulations to Kroozer for the FTF!

Tonight @WindAtMyBack and I swung over here to grab this cache. That's not completely true. She came with @2lablovers to play Pokemon. I came for vengeance on this cache. Maybe I haven't logged a DNF, but I've been here more than 3 times. First time I did a decent search, but couldn't find it. Second time there were too many muggles to take a serious look. But I was pretty sure that I narrowed down the hiding spot and didn't find it (tonight I learned that I was wrong). The next few times were very limited searches because of muggle interference. Apparently they like coffee, too.
Now, in the darkness of the young Thursday night I was able to park across the street. Two muggles were sitting nearby, enjoying the last slurps of their brown octane. But when I walked up they suddenly had other plans and left. Now I was here with my backup and a few shadows. I had the cache in hand in about 10 seconds. It's amazing how I spend at least an hour searching in the past and walked up to quickly find it today. Angle of approach and low muggle activity make all the difference. Well done. TFTC!
BTW, I am one of the unfortunates who are satisfied with a nice coffee flavored shake from Starbucks. Not real coffee, I know.

Tried to find when in the area for Parker Days. Way to many muggles to really attempt this one. Another day.

Was able to get this one really quick after an event down the street. Helped out by previous finder to remain less suspicious to all the nearby muggles.

We had a few hours to drive to Parker and cache---most we found were park and grab today. Thanks to all the owners for placing and maintaining them for us to find. Parker days made for a lot of traffic and blocked roads to get around. a typical Rudy cache

We have been looking at this cache on the map for months. Tried 2 days ago but no luck since muggles started coming in droves. Today went back again early there were no muggles when we arrived but they were quick on our heels. With a little nudge from a previous finder we had the cache in hand. Log is quite full but squeezed our names. T5M/PC/MC. Wow out of all the cuppa chino caches we have found this one is by far the most difficult. Great placement.
Keeping our streak alive. Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc
