This is a fun geocache on a favorite bicycleing trail. We park at Writers Vista Park. Cache is Bigger than an apple but not as big as a shoebox. LOL Cache is in a very rugged spot so when you get to a clear area do a happy dance and get a picture if you can.

Only got a tiny scrape getting this one. Great hiding spot and awesome loot! This was my son's favorite of the day because of the awesome loot, it took him 5 minutes to decide what to take.

A group of new caches appeared overnight so I decided to get as many as possible today. Four of them fit into a 2.5 mile walk and this was the first. After a little banging through the bush I was rewarded with a find. Nice hide. SL

Neat container and hide, but I bet it would be scary and tricky at night with a totally dark trail! TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache!

[FTF] at 7:29am.

I saw all of these publish last night and only thought for a split second about going for them then. While lovely during the day, I think the High Line Canal trail can be a bit spooky at night! Anyway, I planned to get up early-ish this morning to grab some of these. Of course VeganTriathlete got one before the sun was barely up (he's beaten me several times on potential FTFs), but I'm glad he left these.

I am not a bike rider, but I found close enough parking and took the nice walk over here. No one around when I went the "wrong" way to get to GZ. I made my way to the host and saw all sorts of potential hiding spots. But then I spotted something out of place and sure enough, I was rewarded with the cache!

I appreciated the Halloween themed swag as it allowed me to complete the Geocaching Challenge of the Month as issued by CacheAdvance and the Geocaching Vlogger - find a spooky/Halloween themed cache.

I danced in my head and smiled outwardly. As evidenced by my pic. Great placement and container. Really glad I could be FTF on this one.

Thanks for the hide SPat ABQ
