Revenge of the Coon!
Alright new kid, welcome to Coon & Friends headquarters. My name is Stan- but moving forward you will need to refer to me by my superhero name, Toolshed. Speaking of, we need to assign you a superhero name as well. The team discussed this prior to your arrival and we felt “Captain New Kid” best suited your unique personality and abilities.
Moving on, you’ve probably already noticed that “The Coon” isn’t here. Two days ago he and Super-Craig got into an argument about the next direction our superhero franchise should go. Super-Craig wanted us to pursue Professor Chaos and stop him from activating a device strong enough to wipe the suburb of Highlands Ranch off the map. The Coon wanted us to put an end to the Burning Man festival… or something.
When the team voted to stop Professor Chaos, The Coon just said “Screw you guys, I’m going home.” This was odd as Coon & Friends HQ is in his basement, but that’s not relevant. We didn’t think much about it at the time, but we’ve recently got intelligence to suggest that The Coon has now teamed up with Professor Chaos in an effort to see through his awful plans and prevent us from stopping him.
That’s where you come in. The Coon knows all of us; he would see us coming a mile away. But you, he won’t suspect you for a minute. Myself, Human Kite and Mysterion will be helping you along the way, and together the three of us will be the key to your success.
That said here is your mission.
I will meet you at the posted coordinates. There I will provide you with the coordinates you will need to find the next Coon & Friends member on your journey who will in turn give you the next coordinates and so on. There are 4 total stops including the posted coordinates and the final location hiding the device. It’s important you go from one stage to the next in the correct order and that you find any dead-drops that have been left for you at each stage, all so as to prevent Professor Chaos’s security system from spotting you.
The mission requires you to walk about one mile and could take anywhere from a half hour to an hour so be prepared. Bring your pen and tweezers (and seriously consider getting better super hero gadgets).
Last, be very gentle with the device once you’ve found it. It may detonate if you break it! After deactivation please replace as you found it for safe care until we can have it destroyed!
