We were heading over the pass to Leadville, and saw this cache on the way. We thought that it looked interesting so we tried it out. The walk along the trail was beautiful. There was a large assortment of wildflowers that we enjoyed tremendously. The last .2 mile was flat and enabled us to enjoy the views and the trees. The cache was in good shape, and we used our new stamp to sign the log. We were very happy to come to this little spot. Thank you for taking us here. TFTC SL, Aiken, SC (3649)

Beautiful hike with the family. Great Views and and enough of a challenge to make it fun. We just started Geocaching a few weeks ago.

Nice hike. Can't decide if the cows guarding the cache were more startled by us than we were by them. Thank you.

Doing a little exploring, drove across from Fraser. Road in good shape. What a great valley just wish there were more caches in the area. My son made the hike to the cachee with me, (He"s 21 )said he sould of had hiking boot instead of skate shoes, oh well! Saw one mule deer doe at the trail head. Two guys coming out said they saw a couple of bull elk,all we saw were the tracks. The cache is in good shape.Thetrail has a few blowdowns but not hard to get around or over. TFTC

The hike was a little wet due to recent rains, but that led to us seeing fresh bear tracks on the trail right by the cache! Also, the area has lots of fallen timber due to the beetle kill epidemic of the last few years. The cache is still accessible, but you do have to deal with fallen timber to get to it. Beautiful fall color right now!
