This is a short, 2 stage multi along the Apex Trail that shares a little Jeffco history.
Back in the summer of 1869, before geocaching and GPS had been invented, Norma and Wilbur went out into the mountains for a little gold searching one afternoon. However, even back then, they encountered toll roads while embarking on their journey. In order to find the final stage, you’ll have to calculate each of their respective tolls based on the information you’ll find on a sign at the first stage (posted coordinates). Their tolls will represent the last two numbers of the final coordinates as follows:
Norma / North: N 39 42.7 __ __.
Wilbur / West: W 105 12.9 __ __.
For Norma’s toll, she has 1 wagon drawn by one pair of horses, 2 mules driven loose, and 3 sheep driven upon the road.
For Wilbur’s toll, he has 1 wagon drawn by one horse, 4 cattle driven loose, and 5 sheep driven upon the road.
If you have smartphone access, you can check your answers at (enter full coordinates, not just the toll numbers):

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

The final stage is near the trail, but you do not need to be on the trail to see it or search for it (safer to be off the trail when looking for it to stay out of the way of mountain bikers). You can safely search for the cache and retrieve it all from the side of the trail – there is a small clearing off to the south side that has room for approximately three people to stand off trail.
Log only, tweezers recommended, bring your own writing utensil. The cache is a bright orange plastic container, about as round as a bison tube, but approximately 4 inches long. When re-hiding, please cover with camo.
