Quite a rocky, rolling hike up the talus/scree slope. Then lots of rocks to search around and under! But using my GPS and my phone I narrowed down the search area and after almost an hour came up with the find. Thanks to littlelampshade for a sporty challenge. All is well with the container and log. IN - Olympic mascot pin for upcoming Winter Games in Korea OUT - nothing TFTH!!!

Got super lucky finding this. It was under a boulder but in plain sight when you were on the correct side of the boulder. Rehid it the same way I found it. TFTC

I have to admit that my frustration was starting to become significant by the time I already got to this GZ. The GPS was a bit steadier, so I started my search in a 25'x25' area. I checked what I thought would be logical hiding spots, but came up empty. Like Mtn Goat #1, I declined to participate in a rock flipping drill, if it was hidden this way. I noted the high difficulty on this cache, but it sure is a hike to bring folks here for a DNF. An actual cache description and a useable hint would probably go a long way to making this a better cache.

found both Mtn goat caches today. This one was more difficult of a climb than finding the cache. A lot of rocks and trees so there were many places to look. SL TFTC!

The cache name is apropos of the climb. The coordinates are a few feet above the true cache location, but there are only a few reasonable places to hide a container so it world survive the winter. Nice to get this well hidden smallish cache off the list..
