5 Logs: Found it 3  Didn't find it 1  Owner Maintenance 1

Found it 11/12/2016 By BG2015
Just happened to be close by today, so I thought I'd take a look. I solved this puzzle long ago, but only now am getting back to the area. The camo is coming loose, which probably helped me to make the find. Thanks for all the caches that you have put out there.

We solved and allagash found it!
Now that's teamwork.

Went to check on the cache today, looks like the 4 legged muggles had a grand fiesta and used the cache for a door prize.
Cache is up and ready.

7-17-15 (not the same date as the log) We are some 27 caches behind in logging – have not been completely up to date since mid May at which time the Ms. took off for our “legal residence” in AZ, returned for 2 wks, and again in AZ for most of June. I did do some caching without her, mostly bushwhacking type stuff that she detests but am nearing completion of a 14 month project in Delta and putting in long hours. In addition to the Ms., made several other trips to GJT during that same time period picking up Architect, designer, etc. – usually picking up a cache or 2 on the way into town, but not logging it. Have only logged the few FTF and Event caches in the meantime – now catching up. Spent HOURS going back through GPS “Track logs” making sure we got all the caches and on the right dates. With these 27 logs we will have surpassed the 1000 mark by 3 caches.

One of the “unlogged” caches was GCRTA9 – Hidden in the Hunting Ground, a mapping puzzler multi by McMurdo1. We found the first three stages as a team but ran out of daylight, mapping resources, & smarts - and did not find the final stage that day. I literally woke up in the middle of the night with the solution and after taking the Ms. to GJT the following day went out and made the find on the way back home to Delta. I signed the log and logged a “Note” but decided to wait until the Ms. came back and could sign the log also before LOGGING it as our 1000th find. It is definitely in our top 5 list of favorite caches!

This is one of those other 27 unlogged caches. Sorry for the late log but want to thank each and everyone of you for having set the cache for our enjoyment. This one of the few DNFs that we had in the midst of that time. We have long wanted to get the Peach Valley series as well as the others in the area but just never found the right time. Worse, figured out that you need to figure out ALL the jake92 puzzlers out here before you come or you might walk right by the actual GZ of one and then have to make a LONG hike back for that one (Native American - wicked of you bob - but we didn't fall for that one - haven't found it yet either!)

Anyway, having cached out Montrose we are concentrated on the puzzlers and with the Ms. in AZ I felt it was time to go for a ride in the outback. Grabbed Ute Trail overview and Altitude makes a difference but this one is no where to be found. Positive that have the correct coords as I have an adopted sister who is a half sister to a gal I went to school with who is like a sibling to me. I recognized this puzzle as her native tongue, sent it to her in email and had an answer within minutes! Found an old pile of bones left behind by the local "bobcat, puma, mountain lion, cougar" but no cache, not even in the bones! Needs to be checked out by CO, alternatively, he can send me a very good description - not just a hint - and can tell him if we looked THERE and maybe save him a trip. Thanks for the cool puzzle and hunt! Visited bugs - hágoónee'
