Very nice meadow in Pike National Forest. Near some forest service roads, but not on a trail.
We were walking with our dogs and saw elk dashing across the field to this grove of trees where we put the cache. Very beautiful views of the mountains. Easy terrain. Should be able to find it even in the snow.

Spending our 5th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our gold-mobile, and find lonely caches in out-of-the-way places.

Out for a day of caching with Saxboy44, we started at 9am and ended at 11pm. Had lots of fun in Mrs.Loco_motives Jeep in the Tarryall area, only if she knew where her Jeep went, I don't think she would let me use it again LOL. Nice casual hike to the cache didn't see any elk just a rabbit or two. TFTC!!! BigSmile
