This was an epic day hiking when this was left by the CO on the way down. This nurse tree should live long and prosper to the child tree it's supporting. Thanks to the CO for joining us on the long planned hike in the area and leaving this GC in a prime hiking spot.

Thanks for the cache! This was an epic hiking day and I really enjoyed it! We found several and placed a couple and introduced my poor neighbor to caching the hard way! This is a particularly cool tree and I'd love to see pictures through the years, so I hope this one lasts a long time! Thanks for another great one in the series!

FTF with Java Chip! We planned to climb to the top of the ridge and then come down to it. Curiously we saw that it was only .15 miles away at one point on the main trail but we did not let that deter us from the original plan. Once we got to the top we found K Trackers Middle Finger and then tried to proceed down the ridge to this one. The terrain was just too difficult for us for that distance, so we gave up and decided to leave this one for another finder. When we got back to the .15 spot on the trail, we just could not let it go because this would be number 2000 for us, so we gave it a try and ended up realizing this was the approach we should have taken the first time. The hike was easy and the find was made at 4:00 this afternoon. TFTC!
