Three of our eight children are teenagers who play football on one of the local high school teams.  We periodically have to set our dinner table for way more than just the ten of us that live in our home.  Last week each of our three sons invited some of their teammates home for dinner and oh boy did we have a huge grocery bill!  Do you know how much meat and fish nineteen 200+ pound young men can eat?!?  And of course they love variety.  This is just a sampling of what was on the menu that night:

Choirzo, Zungenwurst, Fried fish Sashimi, Sausage Babyback ribs, Stroganoff, and oh Beef jerky for the drive home.  

I won’t even get into what we served for dessert! When all of the plates were licked clean, the very full football players headed out for a movie.  As they were leaving, I swear I heard someone ask, “When can we come back for bar-b-que?!”

No way I would have solved this without help. I had absolutely no knowledge that this existed. I periodically run into puzzles that are above my pay grade. After all my biology, chemistry and physics classes needed to get me into dental school, this did not compute. I even had to go back to my notes to remember how I solved this. HOT DOG!
Anyway, I solved it a while ago and was passing by today and stopped to find it. Clever hide as well. Definitely needed the hint.
Thanks for the eye opener. Love the dog.

I loved this puzzle and really enjoyed the cache container. It is well made, blends in well, and creative. Somehow the inside was wet; I'm not sure how but it's just an example of how water will go where it wants. The log was dry enough to sign, however. Thanks for the fun puzzle and placement. TFTC.

Got a solution not long after it was published (still took some time) and since that was a while back, solved it again to make sure nothing has changed. Used satellite imagery to get an idea an idea where the cache was hidden, but the area did not look like anything in the images - rocks, tree, grass and so on were new. But I spotted something suspicious fairly quickly - yes, that's it! Log was a little damp but still usable. SL TFTC!

I solved the puzzle ages ago but only now getting around to the find. Wish I'd done it sooner - that's a really cool hide! My kids got a real kick out of it as well. Favorite from me. Thanks, appreciate both puzzle and cache! SL - Zulu

Oh this one is FUN! Thanks for the hint and the cache. It's placements like this that really make the sport fun!
