We rode part of this trail at least 16 years ago and it is still as I remember it-rocky & steep. I had a hard time finding the beginning of the trail from the Oasis cache location and ended up cutting through the woods along the creek for a while before I could find a good place to get east over to the trail. I ran into a couple that had been at the lake and almost ran face to face with a bull moose, but it was too late in the day for me to hike all the way to the lake. I had already hiked up to Silver Dollar Lake & Murray Lake on the other side of the pass so my legs were pretty close to rubber.
I don't know why but the coordinates worked OK for me. My GPS read about 19' as I signed the log. I used the hint though, too.

Almost gave up on this one too. I had to crouch down to stop my geodog from barking at another dog on the trail and spotted it near Sassydil's coordinates. TFTC, enjoyed the trail!

Found using alternate coords - thanks for the cache!

The co-ords were way off for me also. I found it with sassydill's numbers. Nice little hide though, thanks!

This one took way too long. Searched out about 20-30 feet on the side of the stream the GPSr sent me to. When I couldn't come up with anything I broke down, checked the hint and discovered there was nothing that matched that description at GZ. Crossed to the other side of the steam, checked things that matched the hint and came up with the cache. Sure glad you included a hint!
