Fabulous Fall Foliage
The cache is less than a 1 mile hike over very easy terrain. It is flat until the last .2 miles where it climbs about 100 feet. If you want to go for a longer hike, follow the trail parallel to Harrigan Creek to the Gore Range Trail, about 3 miles above the cache.

This is a little used trail that was Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation property before a land swap with the Forest Service. There are Elk, Deer and even Moose in the expansive meadows amongst the Aspen and Evergreen forest. The Aspen are peaking when we placed the cache.

The cache is a cookie tin about 10 feet South of the trail.

Found the cache as advertised. The perfect hike for the last hike of the day. I was glad to find the cache close to the trail since my map showed some distance off. The flowers were in bloom. A favorite vote for getting us here.
