the cache name is a reference to the lovely view and a silly comment about a tripod tower, and the container type. I hope somebody besides me giggles as they gaze at one of the most beautiful views in Douglas County.

this area is rich in history. You are looking at Penley's Ranch, have fun looking the history up. There were open range cattle herds, toll roads, apple orchards , moonshine and Chicago gangsters connected to the place.

I spent part of the afternoon up the hill at bigfeeters house and learned that this had been re-enabled (is that even a thing?). I don't know how I missed the release yesterday, but decided on my way home today to grab it. Oh yeah, FOUND IT! I have discovered over the years that caches are much easier to find when they are really there. And I've had enough DNFs to learn that the cache isn't always gone just because I couldn't find it. Thanks bigfeeters for placing this cache so that we can play! Took nothing, left yen & swag, signed log.

Really liked the name of this one, so stopped by on my way to Castle Rock. Nice hide full of goodies! Signed a blank log as FTF at 2:35 PM and left the goodies. Thanks for the cache! Earns a fav for the name!

Thanks for letting me know this disappeared so quick because I was able to get on it. Somebody might’ve thought it was litter ha ha ha ha
I have reloaded a new container. And the coordinates seem to be right. Due to circumstances beyond my control, the first to find eyedentity remains a mystery. I like to think the first finder keeper stumbled onto it. Maybe they will check out geocaching as a hobby. wildcatco was so quick to report it missin. And it was indeed, missing.
FTF round two goes to Kroozer who was quicker to note that I had replaced it. And it’s catch as cache can! He caught wildcatco cat napping on wildcat Mountain! It was epic!
Eye hope this can last longer!
