This cache is in honor of our family reunion held in this park August 2011.
A very nice little walk along Bear Creek to the cache location.
In Bear Creek Lake Park. There is a small fee for entering this park. Suggest parking at Skunk Hollow, then follow the Owl path .6 mi. We often walk our dog here, and have seen blue herons.

Fun Cache on a hot summer day. The Owl family was near and took flight for a nice show. Only one bug in the box so took one left one.

Thanks for an amazing trip Into the Wilderness. Nice to find such a big geocache.This is my final push to get 3,000 caches before the end of my first year geocaching. Today started with a trip to the mountains to grab an FTF. Geocaching has been such a great adventure leading me to beautiful places that I never would have seen without it. This is find number 2,994. I finished the year with 3,003.
