It's been a while since I placed a cache! I've had this idea for this location for a while and finally made it happen today.

Your job is to start hiking up the Spruce Mountain trail, going to the top mountain loop. Somewhere along the way, you will pass "Paddock's Point." You will need to record the coordinates of Paddock's Point and gather information on the plaque to get to the final geocache.

At Paddock's Point, you will travel AAAA feet at a bearing of BBB.CC degrees.

AAAA = (Year Paddock died) - (323)

BBB = (Day of the month Paddock was born) * (Number of the month Paddock died) + (Age of Paddock at death) - (3)

CC = (Day of the month Paddock was born) + (47)

Good luck!

Cool hybrid! The fam, geodog & I came here for a nice hike, and I made them let me find this one. Lol The final took several minutes to find, but I got it. I was hoping there was a stamp inside, but that's ok. I stamped my claudey stamp. TFTC!

It's been a long time since I've done a Brennan7 cache. Always enjoyed them. Spruce Mountain is one of my favorite areas to hike, but it was a little more challenging today due to the rock hard ice. Perfect terrain for spikes. After digging around in the snow for a while, ernie66 found it. Thanks for the hide!

Out for a hike today with estes01 on a warmish day before the next snow. We stopped at the plaque and did the projection. It took a minute at GZ to find the container. The trail was hard ice most of the way -- glad we brought microspikes!

Fun letterbox by one of our favorite CO’s! Found waypoint one but collected some erroneous data which kept us from finding the container. Reached out to the CO and a previous finder and realized our error. Went back to waypoint one and collected more accurate data. With better coords in hand, we walked right up to within 5’ of the hide. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for another fun cache.
