Joe Friday and I (Ivy Dog Parents) will be in town. We would like to meet some cachers. We will have some trackables with us for swapping and discovery. Lets get together for a hour of Geo-Talk and Geo-stories.

Autumnal Equinox, is two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length; also, either of the two points in the sky where the ecliptic (the Sun’s annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect. In the Northern Hemisphere the autumnal equinox falls about September 22 or 23, as the Sun crosses the celestial equator going south. In the Southern Hemisphere the equinox occurs on March 20 or 21, when the Sun moves north across the celestial equator.

Day 2 of our caching adventure in Colorado Springs/ Pikes Peak area. We started the morning off where we had left off on day-1 before the sun went behind the mountains. We cached our way to attend the "Happy Fall, Y'all! - Meet-N-Greet event put on by Ivy Dog Parents and Joe Friday. The event was a lot of fun meeting some Colorado Springs area cachers and Whaleshark from Munich Germany. I was intrigued by her caching adventures while visiting Colorado and also around Germany. Great conversations and discovered several trackables. Thanks Sydne and Joe for putting it together and hosting this event.

We always enjoy attending an event hosted by these COs, so it was especially nice that they drove down to host an event in the Springs. We enjoyed sharing caching stories, discovering trackables, and meeting a cacher who is visiting from Germany. Thanks for the fun event.
