The parking coordinates are listed below and can be reached two different ways; the best is a gravel road that goes North off of the Hi-way 13 bypass at the Ranger Station, the other is the JQS Trail.
The hike to the final cache of this two stage multi is under 1.5 mi. The trail is a bit steep at the beginning but the terrain, once you gain the top of the mesa, is fairly easy. The altitude at the final cache is about 6100Ft.
Both stages are small camoed lock-n-lock containers hidden at the base of a tree with a view. The cache, the second and final stage, has a log, pencil and a few small trading items. This has always been a favorite area of mine for day hikes. Happy Trails!

Great hike, beautiful views. A little windy, and the dog almost chased a rabbit off the cliff though. Still a good time.

Found both stages fairly easily. Nice hike with beautiful views. A hot day for April! Only saw one biker and two runners. TNLN. SL. T4TC!

Great day for a hike especially in this area. There was so much activity going on; motorcyclists, hikers, dog walkers, mountain bikers, shooters and people flying model airplanes. With the view up here, this was the best place to see and hear everything going on. I think we might have also spotted some fellow geocachers but they dodged us. I was here last year with my wife (gurudelaschwans) but never logged it so am doing so now. Picked up her Travel bug and will move it to another site soon. Left a pink motorcycle. tftfc and the nice exercise.

Very nice hike, I got a bit turned around leaving the second stage because I erased my track log but did stumble upon a benchmark on my way to the trail

Another mountain bike/ cache adventure. Left my bike hidden away and headed up to find first stage. Upon finding it, and inputing the coordinates to get to the next stage- I realized that it was farther away than I anticipated and I felt uneasy about leaving my bike! But no way was I going to hike back down to hide it better, so I went for it. It was a very lovely hike! On the way back, I thought I'd try to make a shortcut as I was feeling nervous about my bike . It actually turned into a longcut.Oh well! All's well that ends well- My bike was safe and sound where I left it!!! Thanks for a fun find!!!!!

It only took me two years to hike to the final stage of this one. Great cache. Should have finished it much sooner. It was a beautiful day to be up on that point. Thanks for another great one.

This was really a very good hike! Loved the views and the wildlife. Deer, rabbits, chipmunks, lizards and a lot more. Sat at the final for a while just looking out over the great place that we live in. Stumbled on to the BLM Cadastral section marker mentioned by polaski. Coords are N39.33.818 W107.48.428 if you care to take it in on your way back. It is right on your way. TFTC T-Hot Wheels L-Light stick
