This is a quick find about a mile into this beautiful 2.5 mile hike. The trail is clearly marked and appropriate for all ages. (Note the following mile and a half to the top is considerably more difficult, but well worth the view).

Lovely hike up Hope Lake with beautiful views over all the mountains. Our GPS's pointed a bit too high up but eventually we found the cache. The strange thing is to see quite a few entries in the physical Logbook but only one in the online log before us! Never mind we found it and had an extraordinary day. FTF WOOHOO! !!!! GORGEOUS HIKE. Fantastic scenery. Aspens are starting to turn. Another week and they will be at their peak. 56 degrees and overcast sky. Loved the water falls and streams. Thanks for adding a lot of fun to our day. Greetings from Tucson Arizona and Vallecito lake.
