Take highway 36 towards Estes Park.  Just past Jellystone RV park is forest road 123.  This is the starting point.  A short 4WD trip or a longer hike.  It is worth it either way.
Large pill bottle.  Original contents: Pencil, Paper, Key Ring, Whale Charm & 2 Feathers.  This was our first time up this 4WD road.  We had a great time and colleted some downed wood for crafts.  There are some wonderful views and the aspen were a beautiful yellow.  Also there were still some very beautiful wildflowers in bloom.  The gate was closed part way in on the road, so we will try to finish the trip some other time.

Gorgeous area! Great day out exploring and geocaching in our Jeep. Grabbed the TB and will take it to Texas next week. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!

And a month later yet another visitor. Right before the 'road closed' gate. Mountain biked up here, pushed it a lot, so steep! Took a little while to find but not bad. Nice area. I might come back some day and pedal beyond that gate. TFTC.

This cache has been lonely--almost 2 years since the last find. I've planned to get to it for several years but was always "running late" when I drove by the Hells Canyon turn off of US 36. Today my puppy Orizaba and I had time for the effort. The cache was found after a bit of hunting. Everything's in great condition. Thanks for it, Blackwolf76!

I was doing the caches along this road as a way to walk the dog this afternoon. I did the other four, but just couldn't rouse myself to walk the extra mile to this one. So I went back to the car and drove instead. Those check dams in the road are a bit too high for my little Mazda!

Took a few moments to find, but there was really only one place it could be. I left a refrigerator magnet of an old English postbox. Cache is in good shape.
