***Congrats to -TwoCs- for the FTF*** We were on a hike to find another cache along this trail and couldn't resist leaving one of our own!  This is an awesome Summit County trail that we would never have known about unless we became geocachers!

There is an unusual trailhead just before the road turns to dirt after the Dillon water treatment plant.  Access off of US 6, then head north on Lake Dillon Drive, and immediately east on Summit County Road 51.  Short hike in to find this cache, but keep going to find an even better one!  The cache container does open, although looks are deceiving!  There is currently a log, a bison tube with a log, a glass compass piece, and an unactivated CITO leaf nano coin for the FTF!  Look to the west and you will see the old log flume along this trail.  Enjoy!

I hate to send this one! But the snow on the ground blocked the cache . So what should I do at this point? Take a hike! And so I did. I hope to come back when the trail is dry and clear and your cache is cachable!!! Thanks for providing an adventure for an Oklahoma wanderer . See you around the bend!

Tried to find this last spring when there was just too much crusty snow at GZ. Today was a much different story. Looks like a nice trail.

Beautiful view. Muggles stopped to talk so we took some pictures before they went on their way.
