Oh haha on the 1:1.5 rating on this one !!!! I expect that works in summer.

Today though this Aussie who is here in beautiful Steamboat Springs mainly to ski but also to hunt a few caches... decided to tackle the hide, encouraged by the last log.

I had a local friend with me and together we entered major excavation mode, using boots, elbows, hands etc etc, while another friend videoed our cavortings.

Anyhow thousands of hours and tons of removed frozen snow later, BINGO - we had CIH

And it was time to go warm up in an Irish pub not far away

The entire R5 came over here the other evening near dusk but there was someone there enjoying the view with his dog and some beer. While I would not call him a bum, it was under him . R1 and DerSucher! came by today during the day and had the place to ourselves. Hiding spot from that last person was very obvious so we tried to hide more under. Thanks for bringing us here twice and for the geofun!
