The Cache is right off the trail. You are going to NEED a 4x4 vehicle to get there or The Pata Mobile.
This container is an Amo Can. The Camo was done by My friends in Austin, They wanted to make sure You could'nt find it. I almost started crying I was laughing so hard when They gave it to Me.
I hope You have as much fun as I did on Your trip to Wheeler Lake.

Greetings from Houston, Texas! Today our goal was to make the hike up to Wheeler Lake, but we only got to within 1.5 miles or our target. Still too much snow! I did find this cache, and it appears it hasn’t been found in awhile! Everything is in great shape. Thank you for the adventure!

#30986 Killian33, Terigrl303 and I hiked along the Jeep trail until we reached a lot of snow and turned back. Incredibly beautiful day in the mountains! TFTC

Early this afternoon I came over from the northern Front Range with icezebra11 to hike up Fletcher Mountain and the West Ridge of Quandary Peak tomorrow. We specifically wanted to hike the 4 X 4 road west of Montgomery Reservoir this afternoon to locate the six caches in the RM ORS #16 series plus several other caches that are placed along the road, including this nice one by QueenZelda & Cub Boy. The skies turned threatening fairly early in our hike and when we reached the second cache in the RM series lightening strikes and thunderclaps began that were less than a mile from our position. So we were forced to turn back; this, of course, provides us with an opportunity for another, future trip into this beautiful basin. Years ago I climbed all the peaks rimming the basin and it was nice to return today, albeit for a shorter visit than planned! I recall years ago being somewhat awestruck by certain of the 4 X 4 obstacles along the road. Today's visit reminded me why...

Thanks, QZ & Cub Boy, for this good cache placement! Enjoyable find. I took the TB and will move it to another mountain cache in the next few days.

Denali41 and I drove down from our homes in the greater Fort Collins area to the Hoosier Pass area for tomorrow's planned hike with Kenyansherpa to Fletcher and Quandary. We needed a warmup hike so we parked at the west end of Montgomery Reservoir and hiked the jeep trail. Found this cache's hiding spot and signed the log. Thanks QueenZelda & Cub Boy!

First of a few we grabbed on the hike to Wheeler Lake. The camo would work great in about 5 months! TNLN/TFTC.

Spending our 4th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our red-mobile, and finding lonely caches in out-of-the-way places, tftc
