The rating for this one had me wondering. I spent quite a while searching but not as much as some caches that only have a 1.5-star difficulty rating. Interesting little twist, there...dare I say "underhanded"? TFTC!

I made two attempts at this cache. I searched an hour for it. You can see where everyone has been searching for this one. After an hour I had to clear my head so I went on down the trail to grab another cache that I have not found. After finding that one I reached out to Rushman for some help. He gave me a few clues and I attempted it again but I still came up empty handed. I was getting frustrated so I decided to leave. I will be back.

Finally I can log a smiley on this. I had to go back out and find the coordinates again since I didn't make a note of them the first time. I must have had my head someplace the sun doesn't shine that day. It took another 15 minutes to find the second time, even though I was familiar with the search area. I had a hunch where the final would be (it fits with the theme), and I was pretty close. I signed the log, added some swag, swapped one travel bug and discovered the rest. Thanks for the underhanded hide.

Out on a mild December day caching the Canon area. Lots of solved puzzles and new caches to seek out. Thanks to all the CO's for placing these out here. Puzzle was an easy one, the search was underhanded. In the end though I prevailed and made the find. Traded out travelers. SL
