Multi-cache in a favorite camping spot called "Birthday Camp". 2 micro waypoints and final is an ammo can.
Moderate bushwacking, possible increased difficulty during wet season due to mountain stream. Could get very difficult in winter.

Start near the "Fairy Tree".

Please make sure to hide containers as you found them.

Original cache contains origami dollar bill for FTF and Twiga the giraffe travel bug.

UPDATE June 2012. Cache remains unfound but it had been stumbled upon once, with no damage to the cache. I am upgrading the difficulty in order to reflect the challenge of this cache due to potential gps bounce. We retrieved the travel bug Twigga since it has been nearly a year since this cache was hidden, to move it on.

I am pretty sure I found the birthday camp. It was fascinating. But, I did not find stage 1 so I didn't even look for stage 2. No coordinates for stage ,3 left way too many hiding spots. Loved the hike, cache or no cache.

I got stuck at WP 1. I found the lovely garden. Coordinates pointed about 25 feet away. I searched the trees, roots, rotting logs, and around the garden itself but could not come up with the first micro. All the hanging items had fallen and I replaced what I could.

I left the car at 9:10 and got back to it at 11:10. Took a while to find the first WP. Once I was in the right spot, the find was easy, and the gps settled down. I bushwacked to WP2, I didn't realize I was supposed to take the trail. After I looked for a long while, I saw the notes about the trail and a creek. I bushwacked across the larger creek, then eventually came across the trail. Finally figured I was probably in the right spot, but couldn't come up with anything for wp2. I decided I had all day, and would just keep looking.... but I just couldn't find the second waypoint. Eventually I gave up, and walked down the trail a bit further - to see if I could find your birthday camp. It's a very pretty area with the lush undergrowth. Thanks!

On a maintenance run with my #1 geo.buddy. Everything is in good shape and ready to be found! :)

Checked up on the cache. The cache is in perfect shape. Unfortunately, someone destroyed and removed the fairy tree. But scraps of it remain, as well as the fairy ring of stones. I may have to come back and fix that. I hope people come check this cache out. The ground is bare except for the occasional snowbank hanging on. The stages are snow free .
