The cache is not at the listed coordinates. Solve the puzzle to find the correct ones.Roadtrip anyone??? Come along on this cache, no need to leave you're chair. Some simple math and you can find the location of the cache. Be sure to follow all directions carefully!
For the puzzle I just used Google Earth to measure everything, you might want to do the same so that all measurements are the same. All distances are in miles, you will be rounding to the nearest ten when you measure distances.
AB = Top of the Luxor Casino to the South heading of the Golden Gate Bridge minus Pikes Peak Summit (use the center of the largest building on top, which I believe is the coffee shop) to Delicate Arch minus 105.
CD = Combine the distance from the number 16 on the USS Lexington to the Lincoln Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial to George Washington’s head on Mount Rushmore, and then go from George Washington’s Head back to the 16 on the USS Lexington. After this divide the number by 10 and subtract 305.
EF = Take the distance from the very top of the antenna on the Space Needle to the top of Gateway Arch. Find the square root of this number. DO NOT round this number to the nearest whole number, instead just keep the whole number that you got and forget everything after the decimal to get EF.
GH = Go from the south entrance of the Walt Disney World Castle at the Magic Kingdom Park to the torch of the Statue of Liberty. Subtract 550. Divide this number by 2. The first two digits of this number will equal GH.
Use N 39 0A.BCD W 104 5E.FGH format.
As for the cache you will be looking for a good sized plastic nut jar with a small hike to get to. Possibly some bushwacking at the final but it is not too far off the trail.
04/01/2018 By Trea On this cool and crisp Easter Sunday, April Fools Day, I decided to do a bit of caching. A big thank you to all the COs who placed all these lovely caches for me to find.
My 4th and final puzzle of the day; must be a record for me.
01/01/2018 By brennan7 Solved the puzzle a while ago and was able to pick up the final before a nice long hike. Thanks for the fun!
11/25/2017 By ColoradoSmith Solved this one this afternoon after failing to solve a different google earth mystery cache There was no geochecker, and since the final was near my house, I found it in the fading light I honestly didn't think I had the right coordinates An awesome cache, as usual Tftc!!!
