100-ish years ago this area was filled with apple orchards, watered by holding ponds in the area. Creek waters entering the area were used by farmers n the area. As waters were used, it became a "Big Dry Creek" = The original winding route of the creek was straightened by man. Nature is reclaiming the waters course, Canels cut are filling in as time passes. With that in mind, every dry river bank needs a dusty river bank cache. Tweezers are useful for log pickin', ink stick useful for log marking, Enjoy your search, Best Wishes

Out for some caching before the event today - I was glad the sun came out to start warming things up. Thanks for the cache!

Out and about with COpackrat today. It was good to grab some in between snow storms. It's almost spring but that just means more crazy weather for a while. We stopped by here to scout it out but were thinking the recent snow might make finding it too tough. Fortunately COpackrat had her usual magic touch and found it after a bit of a search. Nicely done. TFTC
