I was down on the path along Beaver Brook when I finally caught and up with my loose geodog, Kota. Short on time - it was 1PM and had to get home by 2PM to submit an electronic timesheet - decided to try and find Stumpy McStumpFace on the way back. First tried hiking up the road that clmbs the dam face. No good - no way off the dam to the north. Descended the road, skirted the lower pond (where Kota got a bath) and began climbing a broad swale leading down from above. Still quite steep, I was sweating profusely, even with Kota and Loki pulling me up the hill. It finally leveled off, and with the distant rumble of thunder, we spotted Stumpy McStumpFace and sat down to log it. Both containers were unique and creative, but especially the inner container. One of the best I've seen. Giving it a fave!

Parked at the trailhead on Old Squaw Pass road and got a 7 mile hike in. Quite a few people out, and even a couple of horses. I walked over to Pat Creek road and back.. 1:02:00 PM% Thanks! Nice easy find. Thanks!
