You are looking for a decon container along Red Mesa Loop in Deer Creek Canyon Park. The search should not be too difficult but the hike will be somewhat of a challenge given the elevation gain and mileage walked. Bring water and a snack. The trail meanders along the front range mountains with views of Denver below. Enjoy the scenery and the exercise!

Bring your own pen.

Fairly quick find for NTM and I. We parked by some of the other caches along the road and were able to take a less-traveled path up to this cache. It was a nice break from the city. We hiked about 3.5 miles today and had a great time. Thanks for the cache.

We came in from the back way. Steep in spots but less than 2 miles to the cache. Very quiet and peaceful trail. Not many bikers today. Tftc!

My #1970 with David coming back to Deer Creek Canyon to grab 8 caches today. We live at 300 feet in Pennsylvania, so the 8 mile hike with 1500 feet of elevation gain on our third day here was a stretch. There was a nice meadow here, and David found the container quickly. This as the last one of the day, and then we had the long slow hike down. TFTC.
