Got the t-shirt! Decided to make a 2nd attempt on this one and with a nudge from a previous finder we were able to make the find. Now we’ll have to find another park to explore as this was the only one remaining. Thanks for the fun cache.

I'm wondering where we go to pick up the t-shirt?? We had a great hike today with YamaGypsy, ChihuahuaJill, and Gypsy's son. Fortunately Gypsy's son's fall didn't hurt him too badly (though it scared him and his mom!) The weather was cold, 20 degrees when we started out, but the snow was mostly gone so the hike was do-able! It does seem like maybe a little more difficult than a 3 ˝ difficulty, just an opinion! I was glad to finish off my last open cache in Ute Valley park today. This was one of the best! TFTC SL

Fun hike this morning with my son, chihuahuajill and Ladditude. About 90 feet before we got to this cache he was getting uncomfortable on the slope. I told him to sit and wait. He ended up doing a face plant in a pile of sticks. Tore his shirt on a stick and cut his hand. :(
I got him calmed down by asking him if he was trying to be Olaf from frozen. It worked until we needed to head down. He was pretty shook up. Tough boy to hike with his mama, lol. Not the first time nor will it be the last I'm sure that one of us falls. Cache in good shape and I was thankful for a fairly quick find. Tftc!

Second cache of the day on a fun cache run with YamaGypsy and Ladditude. Luckily we found this one rather quickly; I had set my hiking poles down right in front of it! When YamaGypsy made the find I told her I was marking it for her! Thanks for placing this cache for me to find. TFTC.

Tricky!

It was an enjoyable hike to this one. Thanks to COpackrat for it's placement and for the nice trail coordinates that kept me on public property! Also, excellent work with the hide. I chased a couple of "red herrings" before coming up with it. Then I had to Mcgyver the log out but it and the container are in great shape. TFTH!!

When the CO mentioned that another cache in this vicinity had inspired her to make a cache of her own, I could tell that she was up to no good. That other cache was tricky!! Luckily for me, she kept me in the loop as the project came along and even let me tag along when she placed it, otherwise I might still be out there looking for this clever hide! This kind of cache is what makes the game fun! Thank you for the time and effort that you put into building caches and seeking out creatively challenging locations.

I remember spending a loooong time searching for Been there, Done that! and expected a similar experience today. I got to GZ and the possibilities were numerous. I started to search here and there looking at this and that and didn't see a T-shirt anywhere. Eventually I examined something fully expecting it to be nothing just like all the many other things I had already examined. I was floored when I actually saw the container. That is so well done and I was so very lucky today. Favorite point for sure. TFTC

Was going to go to try again tomorrow, but it was a crisp 49 degrees, so I dressed for the cold weather and headed to the park.
At the trail head it was already up to 50 degrees and after the first tenth of a mile my nose and ears got cold, so I picked up the pace to warm up.
Got to GZ and remembered the possibilitys that I eliminated the other day and bingo, first I looked this morning, that made it kindof a cache and dash.
I then noticed something missed spelled and quickly corrected it. ( see picture )
Thanks for a fun hunt in another cool spot!

{FTF} Woo hoo!!! Wow, what a hot day, but a fun and frustrating search! I spent nearly 2 hours looking for this cache only to come up empty handed.... I'm guessing it was muggled. I left a replacement container hidden under a rock pile, see spoiler picture.
Ha! Just kidding! But it did take me just shy of 2 hours searching! I saw this publish and was dying to "Get the t-shirt!" but I wouldn't have any spare time until today after work. I'd sent the CO a message as such and was simply advised, "good luck... no hints..." Ha! Wouldn't expect anything else!
I've been on edge all day with anticipation of the search and a little weary of the weather and healthy respect of the danger noodles often present in the area. It was soooo hot!!! I parked and was pleased to see I only had .33 miles to walk. I headed up the trail and hill and made my way to the first way point. Trail? Follow trail? What trail? ha ha ha! The way points did help navigate a semi easier route as opposed to just straight bushwhacking and before I knew it I was within a few hundred feet.
Now.... knowing the CO and her recent trip and caching styles I stared at the cliffs before me dreading the possibilities! But it's only a 3.5T and I probably earned that already so I set about searching.... searching... searching... searching... There are so many possibilities, it's really a daunting endeavor. I persisted. I will note, coordinates are good but your GPS will never get you to the GZ as the cliffs just bounce the signal all over. Second thing I will note. I had the cache in hand numerous times... It's that good! I would even go as far to say within the first 15 minutes at the GZ! Ha!
At last!!! Discovery! The relief I had was so great! I was very very close to giving up! I stamped the log and replaced everything as found. What a doozy! 5D is under rated... 6 or 7 might be more accurate. Assuming the GZ stays "clean" this will test even the best of cachers abilities! I also noticed on the way a DNF was logged earlier in the day. I left a little something behind... ha!
What a great adventure! Oh, on the way back I found some keys on the ground. When I neared the parking spots 3 teenagers appeared to be stranded. I asked if they had lost their keys, they had! Woo hoo! Super RPCO to the rescue!
Thanks so much for all the fun! Sweat and blood is to be expected, but this one was worth it for sure! Now.... Where do I pick up my shirt? Truly and evil hide! 1.35 miles round trip, 2 hours 18 minutes! Record setting pace! Lol!

I got a chance to take a look mid morning and sure enough someone has already been here.
Anyway, I still poked around a little bit and found nothing that resembles a cache container.
This one make #185 on the list so far......
