07 September 2023, 11:00 - 12:00

We are traveling from Canada to geocache.

We love to give back by doing CITO'S.  It is such a great initiative by Groundspeak.

We will meet at the top and clean up the area.  As we are acclimatizing on the way up; we plan to CITO (not a requirement).  We are coordinating with Kaytelyn who works with the Pike's Peak Highway Management.  She  will direct us where they want us to CITO and we will be removing trash according to her directions.  So, meet us at the coordinates and we will go from there.

And we will be bringing some geocoins that want to go to Denver.

Please state your intentions, if possible!!  That way you will get announcements should be need to make any.

We look forward to meeting you!

Nice turnout. I was surprised that we found any trash. It was fun to meet and chat with the COs from BC. You picked a beautiful day for CITOing and finding the other caches up here. Thanks for hosting!

At first glance, it didn’t look like we would find much trash (yay!). However, as R&B CO and I climbed among the rocks, we managed to fill 2 bags with trash and a rusty pipe. Several people thanked us for picking up the trash (very nice). So thank you very much for hosting this CITO. It was a pleasure to meet you and I wish you safe travels.

Thanks to madill for hosting this Cache In Trash Out event! We had to work at finding enough trash to fill a few bags, but that’s a good thing, meaning people are being careful and the work staff are doing a great job I thought it was a great turn out and very enjoyable to chat with fellow geocachers. Safe travels to our hosts for the rest of your trip!!

Thxs to this couple from British Columbia for scheduling this CITO on top of Pikes Peak. The weather was beautiful & I always enjoy being in the mountains. Safe travels as you cache on to your next destination.
