Way back in October of 2010 the 3 Williams Kidz geo-team (that's us) placed their second ever geocache which was named Peanut Golfer (GC2G4J5).  That was after they/we had been caching for 4 1/2 months.

It was a small peanut butter jar placed at this location, next to the Patty Jewett Golf Course.

Over time, the cache went missing due to either muggles and/or landscaping, so the Peanut Golfer container was replaced and named Peanut Golfer 2nd Round, then again as Peanut Golfer 3rd Round, and finally as Peanut Golfer 4th Round before construction tore up everything at this location; we archived it on March 13, 2023.

But now, this spot has been redone and landscaped and so we placed a bison tube cache, since there isn't enough cover for a peanut butter jar.  So here we have Bison Golfer !

This would have been more like a 3 for me if I hadn't had a good friend steer me in the right direction. A few times. Very clever hide, SL, and replaced with a little more wedging. Good to go, thanks for the fun find!

I missed out on lil peanut, GC2G4J5, so thanks for the reincarnation into a bison. It sure would be a sight to see bison here on this beautiful golf course! This is one of 5 traditionals I needed for day #6 of the Baker's Dozen Challenge GC20C49. I also needed a micro for today to fill my Yearly Micro Calendar. So this checks both boxes, as well as being a fun lil cache. Thanks for the geo-fun 3 Williams Kidz. Keep on cachin'

Walking around the neighborhood and then walked to the cache. I was just here last week and thought I would find the old ache again but saw that it was archived. Glad to see this very suitable replacement. Gets a favorite from me.
