Bring all your special tools and go to the posted coordinates. Seek guidance from the two wise guardians there. The twinkles in their eyes will indicate how to proceed.

One guardian will tell you what special tool you require.  The other guardian will indicate which of the nearby adventure gateways to enter...there are two just south of these coordinates.  Does the guardian tell you to go TL (tunnel left) or TR (tunnel right), as you're facing them?

Further directions will be revealed as you explore - follow the wise ones! Be sure to note the 3 digit code on the map, you'll need it to open the final! Budget an hour or so for this one, moving at a good pace.

I see that someone was here not long ago, but who?

After opening the log book I saw a familiar name on the log from earlier in the morning.

Anyway, I was glad to see my shadow today after emerging from the depths of the Grotto.

That means at least 6 more weeks of winter?

Thanks for the multi with a different kind of exercise to go with it!

What took me so long to do this cache?!! I took a look at it a few months ago but it was in the throes of approvals, disablements, and such. I had done a cache in this area a couple years ago when they first built the footbridge between the subdivision and theater complex and remembered less-than-friendly treatment when someone saw me.

So I planned my approach for a Sunday morning hoping there would be no interference. There was a guy out walking with his two pre-teen sons on bikes. One son stopped and used the swing at the Guardians just as I was approaching. Slight delay…

Once the Guardians gave up their secrets, I was on my way into the Grotto. I don’t think anyone saw me after that. There was a slight trickle of water, but no need for hip waders.

I’d forgotten about the toll walking though dragon tunnels takes on the body. Too tight to walk and too slow to crawl. Find a good rhythm because there is a lot of distance to cover

Definitely a favorite here! TFTC!!

TFTC. It was an adventure for sure. Have to be in good condition for this cache. A lot of bending over and some crawling but worth it. Gets a favorite point.

A wonderful caching day with Kerewin0430! We went all over town getting some caches we needed. She of course is the owner of this brilliant cache! I had targeted this one, and I'm certainly glad she was along to share my adventure. With my terrible eyesight, I really needed to rely on hers ;-) If you are even remotely considering this one, I strongly encourage you to go after it. You will love the variety , thought, creativity and challenge that it encompasses! Thanks to Lindsay for the fantastic experience she has put together for geocachers to enjoy!!
