I was hiking in the area and grabbed a few caches. This one had an excellent container, not surprising coming from the mtnbirders and deserving of a favorite point! Thanks for creating and maintaining over all these years! All is well here. IN - a leather bracelet OUT - nothing TFTH!!

Out picking up some caches with COpackrat, enjoying the beautiful weather! Found the cache about 140' away, near a fort as indicated in the last log. We took it back to GZ and found where it was supposed to be (based on the plank that was still attatch to the cache. Thanks for placing this big one! Cute idea!

The coordinates led me about 150' off trail to a pair of twin boulders and an old tree fort. I scouted the area best I could, but it seems the cache is gone.

In morejstu's most recent video, they found this geocache laying around on the ground with all of the SWAG and contents of the cache scrambled around the ground. They picked up the cache and brought it to the new fort they are starting to make. The owner may need to check up on this one......

What a cool concept! Found this on a nice stroll with my parents today. The box was left open and there was noting inside. We noticed a few postcards scattered around so we picked up as many as we could find under the snow and put them inside with ours and we were on our way! Thanks for the fun one!

"You've got post!" Drat. I did not come prepared with a postcard. However, the ones in the cache are in a pretty sorry state from all the rain. This was an enjoyable hike and a fun find. TFTC.

Logged this one with KJKlock and the fur babies on 1/24/16. A great place to go caching. Very beautiful. Thank you.

We headed up some new (to us) trails near Mt. Herman today with our geo-dogs and with Kazhmere. This was our last cache stop while on our way back to the Jeep. I solved this easy puzzle last night after we made our caching plans for today.
What we found at GZ was obviously the remains of the cache, but it looks like a critter has chewed everything up. I found 2 empty Ziploc baggies with holes chewed in them, some chewed up postcards, and a laminated geocaching info note which survived the best out of everything. The largest piece of postcard had a mountain goat on it and was signed in 2007 when this cache was first placed. We added our names to the Mountain Goat postcard scrap and placed that and the laminated geocaching info note in the only "container" we had with us which happened to be a 32 oz. cup from Kum and Go. The lid has a little "x" straw hole in it, so it is not a good water proof container, but we also put the postcard scrap in a new Ziploc baggie, so hopefully this will last for a little while until someone can bring a better container up here.
We will likely be up this trail again in the future, so I'll add this one to our watch list and bring a better container next time if someone doesn't beat us to it.
TFTC!

The kids and I decided to go for a hike today so I aimed for another cache I want to get off the solved list. We found the cache in decent shape tucked away to keep it safe. Sl, thanks!
